We will have an early breakfast and then make a short journey just outside Prague to participate in a Christmas ornament workshop. We will receive a lesson on how to make traditional ornaments and then we will use Czech glass to make our very own Czech Christmas ornament. The trip to the workshop will offer us a chance to see some of the villages in the Czech Republic countryside. Refreshments will be served. We will return to Prague and you can either rest or explore Prague on your own, for which we will provide recommendations and advice to you. We will come together again in the early evening to take a scenic ride across the river to Vinohrady (“Wine Castle”) where we will attend the traditional Christmas ballet, The Nutcracker, at the beautiful baroque Vinohradska Theater. Before and after the theater, we can enjoy the Christmas market at Namesti Miru, which locals consider to be the best market in Prague.
